Ezio Giacobini is Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology, and author of numerous publications, monographs and books on aging of the nervous system and on the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. From 1972 to 1995 he has been Professor of Pharmacology and Director of the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Illinois, and Director of the Alzheimer’s Research Center (National Institute of Aging). He’s currently working at the University of Geneva, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Geriatrics, on the development of early diagnostic methods and drug therapy for Alzheimer’s disease.

Ezio Giacobini è professore aggiunto di Psichiatria e Neurologia e autore di numerose pubblicazioni, monografie e libri sull’invecchiamento del sistema nervoso e sulla diagnosi e terapia della malattia d’Alzheimer. Dal 1972 al 1995 è stato professore di Farmacologia e direttore dell’Istituto di Farmacologia dell’Università dell’Illinois e direttore del Centro di Ricerca Alzheimer (National Institut of Aging). Lavora attualmente all’Università di Ginevra, Facoltà di Medicina, Dipartimento di Geriatria, sullo sviluppo di metodi diagnostici precoci e sulla terapia farmacologica della malattia di Alzheimer.
