Yadin Dudai is Professor of Neurobiology at the Weizmann Institute in Israel and a Global Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience at New York University.
A highly versatile personality with humanistic interests, Dudai studies brain mechanisms of memory and is also interested in the evolution of what he calls “cultural organs”, among them cinema.
Dudai’s work has led to major contributions to the understanding of the formation, consolidation, persistence and decline of recollections. He also works on identifying how courage is activated in the brain.
He has published several books and over 200 scientific articles.
